There are item enthusiasts who collect items they fancy beyond their wildest imaginations, never mind if the thing will cost them. There are also those who manage an undemanding hobby like stamp collecting.  A more recent yet steadily growing hobby is keychain collection, particularly the digital ones.

When we were just merely snot-nosed kids back then, we remember those times when our parents would leave us with the house keys while they go out for their fancy business trips or for their cozy anniversary dates at their most favorite restaurants. The little children that we were, we have been told to keep it from being lost or stolen and even to tie them to a piece of string.
