Visalus – Business Opportunity?

This Visalus Business Review includes a look at the popular products, such as the Visalus Shakes and the body by Vi weight loss program.

In order to understand the Visalus Business Opportunity that exists in 2016, you have to know about the company and problems they have faced in the past.

You can easily find out about this drama, but I’ll just tell you the brief version.

Basically, There was another company called Ocean Avenue. Visalus associates, friends…buddies….whatever….snuck into their offices, stole a computer and hacked into the databases to find more consumers.

It was a pretty weird story to read.

Some guy named Carol Pacileo was acting on behalf of Visalus to investigate Ocean Avenue.

But, when it comes down to it, it sounds like it was just a small crowd of idiots making dumb decisions to try and make headway in the world of mlm (sadly happens…but not just in the mlm world).

Before I get too into the Company information itself, check out what Brad (20K/month mlmr) is doing now instead of promoting mlm. He was in Empower Network and decided to stop promoting to pursue other avenues of income.

Visalus Reviews – What is Visalus?

Visalus is a mlm (duh…because that’s what I write about….)

Anyways..Visalus is yet another mlm that sells health and wellness products. Their main focus is on weight loss and beautiful body making.

Many famous people have joined and unjoined Visalus in the years it has been around.

I came across a Pittsburgh Steeler who had joined it, promoted it in 2013 and is nowhere to be found promoting it now.

What makes Visalus Different?

One things that stands out that makes Visalus different than the other health and wellness mlms is their ONE FOCUS on promoting weight loss programs.

They have laser focus on getting you to participate in one of their weight loss options.

The way they go about this is by attacking social media outlets and creating groups of people. It seems that they are good at creating “herd mentality”. Which is smart.

Within the company site, they offer camio spots for people that meet their weight loss goals and within their programs, they offer incentives for people to do well and make it onto one of these coveted online spots of mini fame.

They house a 100lb club for the bigger and more overweight people (they clearly know about creating a sense of community) along with the other Visalus groups that focus on 10 lb loss or more.

Visalus is smart.

It’s the first mlm that I’ve seen really hone in on the reward centers of our brain and make it a major focus. Yeah sure, there are other mlms out there that offer t-shirts but not like this.

This is the first “tab’ on their site.

They have ONE main focus. It’s you.

They are working on a couple different levels here to try and entice you to join Visalus one way or another.

There is no “Losing” if you look at this. Check out the rewards I’ve highlighted.

They haven’t even begun to mention the opportunity.

So Visalus is really smart and that is admirable.

 

The Visalus Website

The Visalus website is clean cut and very modern. It’s simple and easy to navigate and their focus is clear.

They promote their mission statement: “Life,Health & Prosperity” and when you navigate their website, this is very clear.

I really have no complaints about the Visalus website. This is a company that looks to be insanely focused in ever facet I can explore. (I’ve seen it before, but I have to say, I’m impressed with the way Visalus is doing it).

The Visalus mission is to destroy obesity. It’s a clear and concise goal…and a very admirable one.

What I love about Visalus is that they don’t push their products…..they push their mission.

I’m loving it.

When you check out their website and their “story” on the website, you have several hours of a history to watch.

Visalus has a very long and very RICH history.

Watching the videos is strange. It’s like a rave. ….and a wave of really exceptionally happy people.

They basically have all the founders and top earners come on stage and tell you about themselves, their upbringing and their struggles.

I think it’s to make you feel like you’re a part of the family. It’s just more of Visalus trying to create a group and a movement.

Visalus is co founded by three guys with pretty humble beginnings.

Visalus Review – Body by Vi Products

Body by Vi comes with a 90 day challenge.

When you check out the VI twitter, all you see is tweets about this 90 day challenge and a bunch of people excited about losing 10lbs in 90 days.

Visalus Products shouldn’t be too hard to sell because they have to do with weight loss and who doesn’t want to lose weight right?

The Body by Vi really does have a great network of photos and support in regards to promoting the product in such a saturated market.

Basically the Body by Vi business opportunity offers a weight loss program that suggest you drink two Vi shakes a day as meal replacements, eat two low calorie meals and one healthy “regular” meal a day.

Visalus has a ton of kits to get started with. They even have a new “Customize Your Own Kit” so you’re not stuck with products you don’t want.

 

Many companies sell weight loss products like this. (Limu, Beachbody, Bestlife Worldwide…the list goes on), so what what makes Visalus different?

The difference is going to be you and what you believe in about this product.

You will be up against some stiff competition online and offline. Think about the YMCA exercise groups, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and local fitness groups.

Body by Vi is simply doing what they do but providing products for you to purchase while doing it. You lose weight by taking in less calories.

Do you believe that people will buy Visalus products to lower their caloric intake?

If you’re going to sell Visalus, make sure you try the product yourself. Better yet, become a result of the product and people will start to ask you what you are doing to be successful.

The fact is, is that you don’t need Visalus to lose weight.

Actually, you don’t need anything but your own willpower and less calories really.

The thing what will make or break you in our ability to sell Visalus is your own belief in the products and your ability to lead and coach others to lose weight.

Be honest with yourself and think about if you need Visalus to do this.

I believe that selling Visalus would likely be an ok thing to do if you already have an established health business and a full time staff to focus on just Visalus.

Otherwise, you have a huge learning curve to overcome and a lot of traffic to find. The competition is stiff in the health and weight loss industry so don’t go into this industry without being prepared.

Visalus Review – Visalus is a MLM

Multi Level Marketing (aka mlm) is a term used for what is also called direst selling or network marketing. MLM generally means that you, rather than box stores, are what introduces the product to the market. Because of our involvement, you get paid for the sales. In addition, anyone you also bring into the opportunity with you ( at many levels) will also be beneficial to you.   99.9% of the time, you make money off of people that join you on your “adventure” to see the product.

Multi Level Marketing is set up so that you basically build our own company or team that promotes the mlm product. (In this case Viasalus). The income you make from the Visalus business opportunity is based on how much product you sell, your team sells and how big your team gets due to your efforts.   You earn money off of the people on our team sales as well. This is usually called team volume or group volume. As our organization grows, you may also get shares in the company and earn off of that as well.

The large majority of mlms make money off of products with the autoship feature. It allows you to get others to join and becomes part of the residual program.

The Problem With MLM:

Mlm is a great choice for a business opportunity IF you have a network to go to in which to share your opportunity or product. The other option is to master how to get traffic and leads from the internet, life or wherever. Some mlms will allow you to earn money right out of the gates without requiring you to have anyone in your downline, while others require that you have others in your downline in order to make any money at all.

The majority of mlms require recruitment before payment. IF you choose to join Visalus, you have to decide if their limited product line is enough to sustain you building a huge corporation. Do you believe enough people will continue to buy this product or are you going to be stuck having to sell their power drinks to stay above water? Also, if your recruits don’t do squat, what does that mean for you? You are going to have to train them to get traffic, make friends, and sell Visalus just like ou WHILE you are also selling too.

You will see that the Visalus compensation plan is very similar to other mlm comp plans out there.

In addition, there is the BMW bonus that a lot of mlm review sites will scrutinize because car bonuses tend to lock you into a car payment.

So what do you do if you’re company or your investment with Visalus flops?

But everything in life is a risk right?

Visalus Reviews – Body By Vi Scam?

There are reports out there that the Body By Vi is a scam. The truth is, that Visalus has had their fair share of problems.

One of the problems I have run across is the report that Visalus is using low quality products. The products are soy based (cheap protein) and has been associated with several health problems. (This is one of the complaints anyways…but people are still buying fried potatoes at McDonald’s well over the cost of one potato…..if you catch my drift.)

This is not so good.

In addition, the latest reports I have found are that Visalus is downsizing their support staff by over 80 some people.

This means what then your customers need support, they will have to wait longer. It’s never good when a company downsizes.

If it feels like you’re joining a sinking ship…..then by all means…don’t do it.

All that being said, however, you have to remember to take things with a grain of salt.

The staff reduction may be a part of a larger strategy. What if the old way wasn’t working. Then you should admire the commitment to make things better.

ViSalus is actually still launching new products and they have changed their compensation plan.

IN addition, they are now offering Custom Visalus kits, 15% off promotion. It’s clear that Visalus is still in the mlm game.

They recently launched their Neon Health Drink in France to make a total of 14 countries.

So..even with downsizing in one office, they are still upsizing in other countries.

Although I’m not a fan of mlm, I can’t see where Visalus is a scam.

It’s just another product that you promote and you either have network marketing skills to do so or your don’t.

The Visalus MLM can work for some:

Making money with Visalus really depends on you.

1. Can you start a business and promote the product and opportunity? Are you going to make this a full time job and treat it as such?
2. Are you more likely to start this and hope it takes flight on it’s own?

If you join a mlm, like Visalus and expect to have money dropped on your lap, you need to keep that day job.

MLMs require people skills. Mlms require that you believe in your product. Mlms require time and effort.

You can make money with Visalus if you have the right tools and know how.

The first major hurdle you’re going to face is traffic. You are going to need to find quality mlm leads that will buy into our opportunity.
