Who knew that Pampered Chef has a mlm background right? I don’t know why I’m surprised by this. My mother would bring home Pampered Chef just after she got over her Longaberger phase.
It almost seems like there is a mlm out there that pushes the mlms to middle age mothers. Longaberger, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Avon…all those big names are definitely names I have heard and had products from growing up.
It’s pretty amazing to me that it took until my 30’s to even realize that they were money making businesses. I had always thought it was a nice lady next door or my mother had a friend who just loved make up and baskets THAT MUCH….and obviously though afterward that I would never be like that.
I had no idea that a Pampered Chef Compensation plan even existed…let alone a comp plan for all the other multi level marketing businesses out there!

All Pampered Chef kitchen tools come with the Pampered Chef logo promptly displayed on them as if they were a letter of recognition of the success of the person who owns them.
If you have Pampered Chef, you must be doing well financially in the world right? It’s the same thing with the Longaberger baskets. Ironically, it’s not the same as with Avon or Mary Kay…but that’s probably because they have lower priced and more affordable items that are consumable.
Pampered Chef was started in 1980! Started by Doris Christopher, the Pampered Chef Consultant opportunity was created to help “pause your life and take in the most important moments” by offering kitchen tools that make your cooking time faster and less “fussy”.
(I don’t know if you have ever used the Pampered Chef products, but I’m not sure how mixing bowls, spatulas and weird onion holders speeds things up. If I want fast, I go for the Hamburger Helper …gross I know)
Pampered Chef is a Berkshire Hathaway Company. The “home parties” are called Cooking Shows and independent consultants are encouraged to show off the unique products that Pampered Chef has in order to entice their visitors to purchase the items.
At the end of the cooking show, you will be given the opportunity to purchase Pampered Chef Kitchen tools for your own home and of course, asked if you’re interested in the Pampered Chef Consultant Discount via the Consultant opportunity.
Selling Pampered Chef 24/7? Pampered Chef Consultant – How to Join
Chances are that you are reading this because you were approached by a Pampered Chef Consultant to join the opportunity.
Sometimes you might even get a survey that asks you about your current job and if you enjoy it. This is one of the ways that leads to an opening conversation for the Pampered Chef consultants to approach you about purchasing the Pampered Chef starter kit. They will also talk to you about how you can “save” money by purchasing at wholesale prices as a consultant.

MLM Reviews: Pampered Chef Compensation Plan
So you think you’re ready to start getting that Pampered Chef consultant discount and you’ve got the Pampered Chef consultant agreement in your hands or you’re wondering what it looks like.
To save you some time, I’m going to summarize the Pampered Chef compensation plan for you and if you join, you can always access the agreement and keep up with the latest changes in the compensation plan.
There are nine main ranks in the Pampered Chef consultant plan.
- Consultant
- Senior consultant
- Team Lead
- Director
- Advanced Director
- Senior Director
- Executive Director
- Senior Executive Director
- National Executive Director
Each of these nine ranks have different requirements in order to achieve the rank. Once you start to get higher up in rank you will find that your personal sales requirements go up along with the number of Pampered Chef consultants that have to be in your downline in order for you to progress and make more money with the Pampered Chef Comp plan.
You will enjoy several bonuses along the way as well. There are monetary bonuses along with Pampered Chef product credits. Starting at the Advanced Director rank, you must have a total of $12,000 or more within your entire organization per month.
Team sales don’t come into effect until you reach the rank of a Team leader and then beyond that the personal and team sales must equal $5,750.00 per month.
Each Pampered Chef Consultant can has several different requirements that they must meet in order to stay at that rank.
The requirements to stay active vary at each rank within the Pampered Chef Comp Plan.
The requirements are:
- Personal Sales
- Personal Team Sales
- Personal Team Actives (The # of active Pampered Chef dealers in your downline)
- Qualified Director Teams (The number of teams and an Advanced Director and beyond that you need)
- Organization Sales
The Bonuses that you can earn as a Pampered Chef consultant vary and can be any of the following:
- Recruiting Bonus- Consists of Pampered Chef product credit
- Monthly Active Bonus
- 2nd Generation Director bonus
- 2nd Generation General Director Leadership Deviation Bonus
- Executive Director Car Allowance – up to $900 / month
Overrides are given to Pampered Chef consultants on their own sales and their downline sales. You can get overrides from personal sales, direct recruit sales, indirect recruits (this is not common in mlm companies so this is an extra), Team and personal overrides.
The Leadership Overrides for being a good leader are also available on the 1st generation, 2nd generation director, 2nd generation teams and the 3rd generation once you hit the Executive Director rank and more.
The highest rank you can achieve in the Pampered Chef Compensation plan is the National Executive Director which requires $200,000 per month in organizational sales.

Should you put your future in the hands of the Pampered Chef Consultant Agreement?
It really depends on how you want to approach your online home business opportunity.
You can choose any multi level marketing opportunity out there but if you don’t know how to optimize your website to draw in traffic after your friends and family are burnt out from your attempt to make Pampered Chef Sales, you’re not going to get very far.
Network marketing, direct sales or multi level marketing are all sales jobs at their core, so the questions is do you want a sales job that sells the products that you love.
You can be success in mlm but again, you need the skills.
If you can find yourself learning how to really blast out a website or two that brings in fantastic traffic and taking the time needed to help expand with each step, then you will likely be very successful.
Like most successful mlm sales persons, you have to be willing to do what it takes and not give up. So let’s talk about giving up…
Why Pampered Chef Dealers don’t succeed
If you can be successful selling Pampered Chef, then why do over 80% of the people fail? And furthermore, why do less than 5% make large amounts of income?
It’s not because they don’t try. Oh ok..well maybe it’s because some of them don’t try. But most people who join mlms join and try right out the gate and then they start to hit the typical mlm roadblocks.
MLM Roadblocks:
- No Traffic and No skills to get the traffic
- Lack of knowledge of how to convert traffic to sales if you even get it

It’s a little different than traditional sales in that you get to have a % in from the profits. You have to make sure you are 100% in love with the product because genuine sells.
