Everyone wants to get rid of scars. No one likes to watch an imperfection sitting on the skin forever. According to Wikipedia,
"Scars are areas of fibrous tissue (fibrosis) that replace normal skin after injury. A scar results from the biological process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. Thus, scarring is a natural part of the healing process. With the exception of very minor lesions, every wound (e.g. after accident, disease, or surgery) results in some degree of scarring. "
Since Wikipedia said that every wound results to scarring, I think it is impossible to avoid having one. The only problem is how to get rid of scars after the wound has finally healed. At present, there are many products available in the market that is made to reduce or get rid of scars. It is easy to get rid of scars when it is still new. Older scars may take time to lighten. You may not get rid of scars completely but there are many ways to lessen or conceal its look.
