If you are asking yourself “Should I sell Limu?” and you haven’t looked at the LIMU compensation plan (which they call the LIMU prospertiy plan) then I’m going to tell you no way.
You need to educate yourself on the limu business opportunity first, before you decide to join.
This LIMU Company Rank Qualification explanation and LIMU mlm vocabulary posts is meant to help educate you, the prospect LIMU distributor make a good decision about whether or not selling LIMU products is the right choice for you.
So stop thinking about making extra money with LIMU and move on to learning about their ranks and vocab before you put your money into another mlm company.
If you are second guessing joining a mlm company at all, then perhaps your are better suited to taking an online course about internet network marketing instead. If that is the case, then go ahead and put your fancy little email here:

OK…
Crack of the knuckles, a big long stretch and HERE we go!
Let’s attack the LIMU mlm vocabulary first so we can get that out of the way.
Take note that most mlm companies use the same type of lingo when it comes to mlm glossaries, however, there is always something different in each one of them and therefore that is why I’ve decide to make it easier on all you mlm marketers to put all the vocabulary from the mlm compensation plans on one blogpost.
This way you don’t have to wait for the annoying pdf’s to download if you have a crappy (but cute!) pink computer like me.
Out of all the mlm compensation plans, I find the LIMU vocabulary and glossary more bearable…but still lengthy.
So here it is:
LIMU Vocabulary you need to know when joining the limu business opportunity online:
- Active Promoter – Most mlm companies have this type of mlm vocabulary so this is no surprise. A promoter is active in the limu company as long as they are enrolled in the auto ship required and has the personal volume of at least 100 PV for that month. (PV = Personal Volume). Your 100 PV is generally what you have on the autoship program. You must be active when they are calculating the commission from the LIMU compensation plan guidelines.
- Autoship – I’m not sure why this have to be defined, but I guess you shouldn’t make assumptions right? Autoship is when they send you an item (that you generally promote for LIMU) each month and for which you pay for via an automatic payment. Most mlms have a required monthly shipping program. LIMU automatically will ship you LIMU products each month.
- Customer – Clearly a customer is someone who buys something. In this case, a customer is someone who buys the LIMU products. What is unique about the LIMU company is that customers can enroll other customers. By enrolling three other customers, a customer can earn free LIMU products but no commissions on any sales in their downline (essentially other customers). You get out of being a LIMU customer when you become a LIMU promoter by getting others to become promoters and at which point you start to earn a % of the sales of your promoters and customers sales.
- Dynamic Compression – This is a new term that I haven’t seen before so bear with me. LIMU compression is a part of the LIMU compensation plan that allows you to maximize earnings by allowing you to make more money “deeper” within your sales levels. LIMU commissions are calculated on orders and the LIMU compensation program will skip the inactive LIMU distributor in your upline until it reaches an active LIMU distributor (that’s the compression) which is beneficial because the unqualified distributors will not hurt or affect your LIMU qualification or LIMU pay like they would in other mlm companies.
- Enroller – This is the person who got you to join the LIMU business opportunity. MLM companies usually call this type of person a sponsor or a coach.
- Enroller/Sponsor Tree – This is the basic mlm geneaology showing how people are “related” in regards to when and under whom they joined the LIMU business opportunity.
- Frontline – This is your first level of promoters. The people you brought in or your upline and placed directly under you.
- Frontline / Personally Enrolled – These are the promoters that you personally enrolled into the LIMU opportunity and are in your first level on the sponsor tree.
- Generation- This word references other people in the LIMU company tree that are in the same level and rank as you. So if you are at the 50K rank and you have another 50K person ranked in your downline, that 50K s considered your first generation while you are the second generation as you look upline.
- IAMLIMU Back Office – The IAMLIMU back office is your online tool (web based LIMU portal) that is accessible at IAMLIMU.com. This is where you will go to see how youa re doing in regards to sales, how your downline looks, what your weekly and monthly earnings are doing and where you will send your potential customers and promoters. You will also find training materials and resources that will help you find more success with selling LIMU products. There is an upsell for this back office for you to buy the “All -Access” pass which is advertised to help you tune in on to a laser focus so that you can grow your business even larger. I have a sneaky suspicion that the All Access for LIMU is just a way for you to gain commissions on others who buy the all access. I could be totally wrong but this is generally what the “hidden” things are in mlm companies.
- Leg – Common in mlm companies and what the naysayers use to shout that mlms are pyramid shemes, a leg is a part of your downline and is made up of one of your members in level one and their entire downline.
- Level – This is your position in regards to your downline within the LIMU hierarchy. If you personally bring someone on board to the LIMU opportunity, they are placed below you and are your first level. Anyone brought in by those people (your first level) are called your Level 2 adn so on. If a promoter does not qualify for a pay period, then they are compressed out and not counted as a level so that everyone below them will move up a level when commissions are paid out.
- LIMU Mobile App – This is a new vocabulary word that I haven’t seen on mlm vocab pages before so I wonder if LIMU is the first company to use a mobile app or not. The mobile app is basically a way for you to work your LIMU business anywhere by using your smartphone and tablet and lets you “share” the limu company anywhere and anytime. This is only usable to people who purchase the “all access” pass.
- Max Leg Volume Requirement – The LIMU compensation or prosperity plan lets you build your business 13 different ways, however there is a maximum leg volume requirement that will limit the volume that you may count towards your title and rank within the LIMU company compensation plan. So you can not have more than 60% of volume count towards your rank from any one leg. This will ensure that you build out your legs. The example they give in the LIMU compensation plan is: if you are a 20K rank, you can only count 12,000PV (60%) in any one leg in order to qualify for the 20K rank. So you can’t reach 20K by having just one leg that is 20K.
- Membership – This term refers to your LIMU business.
- Monthly Commissions – Monthly LIMU commissions includes all bonuses that pay out monthly such as: Level Bonus, LIMU BMW Bonus, Leader Cash, Leader Pools, and Leader Development Bonus. The month begins on the first of each month 12:01Am Central time and ends midnight on the last day of the month. Monthly commission are paid on the 8th day of the following month.
- OV (Organizational Volume) – This is the total volume of all the personal volume that you have in your LIMU downline.
- Paid Rank or Paid-As Rank – Common in some mlms, the paid as rank is what determines what commission and bonuses that you are qualified to received and does not necessarily have to make your Title Rank. It is always based on the current month’s Personal volume, the number of promoters you have in your downline that you enroll and who are active (on autoship), the volume within your organization OV and the max leg volume from the LIMU compensation plan.
- Payline Volume – This is the total of all the personal volume in your downline whose orders are part of your paid commissions. Depending on your rank, you get paid differently per level in your downline.
- Pin Level/ Title Rank – This refers to your top rank that you have achieved and maintained (for the most part). It’s the highest level that you personally have achieved within the LIMU business opportunity. See my discussion of ranks below this vocabulary post.
- Placement – This refers to where you are placed in another promoter’s downline within the LIMU business.
- Placement Tree – The genealogy of your placement in relationship to each promoter within the limu organization which does not take into account your enroll/sponsor. It shows where you are on a level compared to other promoters in the limu company.
- Pro Rata – I’m a little bit lost on this one so I’m just going to quote it from the LIMU compensation plan: “Proportional distribution of commissions on the basis of a Promoter’s AutoShip volume”
- Personal Volume (PV) – The amount of products (basically). It is used to determine your qualification for commissions. It usually refers to your own personal volume as a promoter.
- Qualifying Volume (QV) – The total of all your personal volume added from your downline and is used to see what your qualification status is in regards to ranks and commissions. (This counts the Max Leg Volume)
- Sponsor – The same as Enroller.
- Team/Organization/Group – This is the growing organization (branch) that you are a part of that is part of you enrolling and sponsoring customers and promoters into the LIMU opportunity. AKA downline.
- The LIMU Experience – Your elite living with your LIMU business. Your lifestyle, dream, sharing..etc. This is the term that puts LIMU in the limelight of your life, your enjoyment of the product…etc. They want you to share your story, your journey etc….and then enter into a raffle about your LIMU experience to have a chance at winning lots of money. It’s their way of advertising to get more promoters in on the LIMU business opportunity.
- Upline – This consists of your sponsor, enroller and their sponsor and their limu sponsor etc. etc.
- Volume – The amount of product which counts towards your qualifications and commissions. There are several types of volumes in the LIMU compensation plan: Personal Volume, Qualifying Volume and Organizational Volume. Volume is not price.
- Weekly LIMU Commissions- Paid more frequently than the monthly commissions, the weekly commission pay out once a week starting on Monday at 12:01 am and until midnight the following Sunday. Weekly commissions are paid every Wednesday following the prior week. Weekly LIMU commission includes Customer Commissions, Fast Track Bonus orders, First Order Bonus and the 2K VIP bonus.
- 70% RULE – I imagine this rule is hard to enforce but it seems to be in place to prevent people from hoarding? I don’t know but the 70% rule in the LIMU compensation plan is that you must retail or consume 70% of whatever you order from LIMU before you order more LIMU products. This is the first time I’ve seen a rule like this and I find it very interesting.

Should I sell LIMU products?
The LIMU business opportunity sounds really promising and my interest is certainly peaked, however, I need to focus and make sure I get to a point of passive income where I can afford the time to sit around a pool and play around with MLM companies.
Really, I’m not sure if mlm companies should be a career choice or not.
I think if you believe in the product then, most definitely you can build a successful money making career online, however, that approach would have to be slower and more methodical and you would hopefully only concentrate on adding people who you genuinely want to help in your downline.
Even then, you might end up disappointing yourself because not everyone has the same work ethic and people that you think have a good work ethic might teeter out after awhile and then their failures become your failures and you might end up being a very depressed mlm opportunists.
Why not skip that step of building up your hopes and watching people fail out of the mlm world?
How about get rid of the mlm world in your life altogether and build an at home business that works for you and the only person you ever have to bring into your business if YOU.
You hold yourself accountable and you never have to listen to a boss again.
Give yourself a fantastic financial future with the best lead generating course in existence today.
It is so much more than lead generation though. You get sales skills, you get online mega marketing skills, you get life long friendships and you surround yourself with wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs who will push you everyday to build and be your best ever.
