Welcome to my Traffic Authority Review!
The Traffic Authority mlm is one of the first I have found that deals with being an actual internet marketing program rather than a product that you consume as with a traditional mlm program.
Traffic Authority was created in August of 2015 by Doug Wellens, Chad Stalvey and Greg Chambers. Prior to being known as Traffic Authority, the company was called the Infinite Leverage System and is said to provide high quality leads through a “traffic package”.
The concept of Traffic Authority is very similar to that of Empower Netowork’s ipas2 where it provides an “easy” way to accumulate leads for your online business and only consists of a digital product. Actually Traffic Authority seems a bit worse because they don’t really have a product, it’s more like human trafficking.
I know that sounds terrible but they are just selling leads and then getting you to buy leads so you can sell leads. If you bought leads, why would you need to sell them? I don’t know, something just seems wrong about this whole Traffic Authority Opportunity.
If you think it sounds too good to be true too, maybe it’s time for you to hear what Brad has to say. Brad has experience in a similar mlm and can give you some insight on companies like Traffic Authority here:
Traffic Authority is very interesting and totally different from the other mlm reviews I have done because they chose a word that can not be easily looked at in regards to keywords and it seems that in order to get a full picture of the impact of the Traffic Authority mlm, you have to search throughout the web and put in very specific keywords to find reviews and information about it.
The term “traffic authority” comes up in google as actual automobile traffic in different countries, so in order to find more information about the company called Traffic Authority, you have to “dig” a little bit to get to the actual Traffic Authority mlm page.
Traffic Authority is something I would be slightly cautious of because it offers compensation for getting people to join the Traffic Authority mlm and I have to wonder if they won’t get shut down. What is interesting is that as you join, I’m pretty sure you also become one of their leads.
Now I could be wrong, but Traffic Authority would be very stupid to not take advantage of giving your name out as a lead of someone interested in obtaining traffic for a business opportunity.
From reading their very lengthy compensation plan explanation, it looks like it was just throw together quickly and on a whim.
The Traffic Authority comp plan also states that in order for you to make any money with Traffic Authority, you have to purchase the Traffic Authority leads.
Make money with Traffic Authority
To make money with Traffic Authority, you have to purchase their product. You can enroll in Traffic Authority for free, however you can not make money unless you purchase one for their packages in order to be considered qualified.
In order to earn commission from Traffic Authority, you have to purchase product or you have to refer three sales. The first three sales will go to the next Traffic Authority affiliate and will qualify them for future sales of the product.
That’s kind of cool because you literally don’t have to put money into the program if you want to make money with Traffic Authority.
You simply refer three sales to start off and then you are able to start making money.
Traffic Authority Products
Traffic Authority Packages:
- Traffic Authority Reseller License – $20.00
- Traffic Authority Reseller License and Traffic Optimizer – $47.00
- Traffic Authority Reseller License and Traffic Optimizer with Traffic Academy – $144.00
- Traffic Authority Traffic Package with 170 to 190 clicks – $220.00
- Traffic Authority Traffic Diamond Package with 8,400 premium clicks – $8397.00 (this is less than $1.00 per lead)
- Other Traffic Authority Packages do exist but I wasn’t about to spend any more time on them.
Once you enroll in Traffic Authority you are not able to get a refund or cancel unless you do so within seven days via postal pail. This is something that sends my red flags up like crazy.
Why make it so hard for a refund? Email is the current way that most people communicate but you want snail mail for people? Why?
To make it inconvenient is my guess.
Once you join, you will see in the back office which consists of some videos and the packages you can buy.
One of the more interesting things I found, that was nice, was that they already have prescripted facebook posts and emails so you don’t have to do any thinking at all it seems.
In addition, they also have html codes for “Make Money Like Google” ads and more. They even have one that talks about making money like facebook does.
The propaganda for Traffic Authority is very tempting but I am very leery of how they have changed their name recently. Having just launched, you would expect that they are at the top of their game, however, their website has an outdated calendar on it as well so it makes me wonder how much time if really being spent on growing the business.
What most turns me off from Traffic Authority is the fact that it seems to be in business just to make money.
I don’t care for that sort of business. Yeah, I know, it’s like a necessary evil that you need to find someone to help you with traffic, but there is a better way than selling leads and it’s the program I’m in.
I paid to learn what I know about ranking in google and other search engines and now I have people paying me to help their web presence.
Traffic Authority Compensation Plan
The Traffic Authority comp plan ranges from $100 to $4000 for the diamond traffic package. Remember you have to pass up three commission of the product you want to earn from in order to earn any commission from it. So you either have to spend $8400 to get $4000 or you pass up $16,000.00.
In the new Traffic Authority Compensation Plan, the compensation plan explanation still mentions Infinite Leverage so it makes me wonder about the integrity and stability of this company.
In addition to the mention of Infinite Leverage in the Traffic Authority Comp Plan, there is also mentioning of the prelaunch and launch phases which have come to a pass at the time of writing this mlm review.
Traffic Authority claims that the compensation plan was made better than other mlms because as a Traffic Authority associate you are instantly rewarded for making sales AND your enroller is too as long as they are qualified to earn commissions (they bought product).
Because Traffic Authority is so “new”, they only have three products according to the Traffic Authority compensation plan. The Traffic Authority products include a $20 tool package, $50/month training and $4000.00 sales from traffic packages.
Traffic Authority claims that people will continue to buy from Traffic Authority again and again as long as you remain active. The Traffic Authority compensation plan mentions how it can make you tons of money for years and years to come. (Do you see the red flags?)
I hate to sound biased but the mlm compensation structure seems hard to justify when you really don’t have a product. I mean, they have a product but it’s people…so it’s totally different than a company like doTERRA essential oils that has a consumable product.
Here’s a run down of the Traffic Authority Comp Plan:
- The first six Traffic Authority Sales are split between you and the person who enrolled you into Traffic Authority. The split is 50/50.
- This is supposed to make your sponsor more inspired to help you make your first six sales.
- After the sixth sale you get 80% of the sales commission and they get 20%.
- All sales commission are only paid to you if you are qualified according to the Traffic Authority compensation plan.
To be a qualified Traffic Authority Rep, you must do 2 of the following:
- You purchase the product for yourself that you want to make commission from.
- You sell 3 of the product you want to earn commission on and you pass them up to your sponsor.
The Traffic Authority Comp plan goes on to talk about way you earn by giving examples of the very simple program. It’s a lot of words to explain some fairly simple points.
Another red flag for me on the Traffic Authority opportunity is the fact that your commission are HUGE. For example, you get $20 out of a $27 sale.
Something is wrong here. In addition to the huge commissions that seem off balance to the actual product value, the Traffic Authority products are monthly bills or autoships.
This is going to make people mad or really happy. I guess it really comes down to how good the leads are from Traffic Authority.
Interestingly enough, Traffic Authority also offers Leadership bonuses and therefore when you reach a certain income level each month. The leadership bonuses and pools are not talked about in length on the Traffic Authority site as of right now, however it sounds a lot like many mlms do where they split shares off of the total company volume.
Is There a Traffic Authority Scam?
It just all seems a little too outrageous for me, but maybe I’m not thinking far enough out of the box. So is Traffic Authority a scam? I really think that the Traffic Authority opportunity is one of those “too good to be true” opportunities that will make thousands off of people and not really provide much value back.
It is tempting to try because they are in the very beginning of their existence as “Traffic Authority” however, I question how long a company like this will last. If they are like Empower Network, they will last a long time but you will fail or compromise your morals when you see that you are making a ton of money of human traffic.
Who knows, maybe Traffic Authority is worth the time to find out if it works. The only way you could really find out is if you tried it, but do you have time for that?
It takes time to generate leads. I know traffic authority is saying all you do is buy their leads and they will buy into your opportunity, but I’m not sure I’m buying that.
The mlm world pays big bucks for leads and whether the Traffic Authority leads are good leads or bad leads really will determine your success. Where are the leads coming from? Who is getting them for you?
Why bother with all the questions?
What if you could find a way to create your own good leads rather than buying them in order to sell them? With Traffic Authority it seems like you would buy leads so you could sell leads and it just seems so infinitely wrong.
What if you could get paid to generate leads instead?
In comes BRAD’s mentoring program.
