Viviane Skin Care

Vivane Skincare is one of the first mlm companies that I have come across where finding information on their compensation plan and product proved to be fairly challenging. It is the first mlm company that has been listed as one of the top growing mlm companies but lacks a solid website and information on their compensation plan and business opportunity.

It was a little bit easier to find out more about their history via youtube and vimeo versus finding information about how to join and what the costs associated with joining the Vivian Woodard business opportunity.

A man by the name of Gordon Woodard is the brain child behind Viviane Skin Care.  With experience in direct selling and supplements, Gordan became interested in osmosis skincare items.  In 1958 he paired with Ernie Bridgeman to form Viviane Skincare.

Vivian skincare was one of the first skincare items that offered skincare that is does to help maintain the “fountain of youth” look to Hollywood actresses and actors.  Vivane skincare was named after Gordon Woodard’s wife, Viviane Woodard.

Vivian Skincare is a direct selling association member and a part of the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance.  In 2000, the Spitzer family gained most of the ownership of the Viviane Skin Care line and in 2008 relaunch and rebranded the company.

This explains why you see a slew of videos from 2008 to about 2009 of videos about Vivane skincare but then nothing after that.  I would say that the relaunch was a bit of a flop, however, they have recently been climbing the ranks of growing mlms so something must be going right for them.

What I found very interesting is that Vivian skincare was supposedly used by famous Hollywood actresses. I find this interesting because I have never heard of Viviane skin care before I decided to do this mlm review.

Vivian Woodard skin care products are vast and many of them are listed on their website.   Knowing the Vivian Skincare is a skincare mlm that is interesting because most mlms that are out there today do not allow you to buy the product online from a main site, however, Vivian Skincare offers products from their main site.

I would be weary of this as a mlm opportunity because people can go straight to the website to purchase the skincare items and do not necessarily need a Vivian Skincare Distributor in order to purchase the items.

VIVIANE Skincare Products

Vivian skincare products focus on using water, rather than oil as a means to achieve healthy and glowing skin.   One of their main products offers a three step skincare product that cleans, tones and moisturizes.

In addition to a women’s skincare product line, Viviane skincare offers men’s products. I found that I was a bit overwhelmed by looking at all the products on the aged Vivian Skin Care website and found that it reminded me a little bit of Avon and a mix of Thirty One because of the amount of products that was offered.

The Viviane Skincare videos that I watched recommended that you sell Viviane Skin Care Products by:

• Personal Contacts and Meetings
• Home Parties
• Office Demonstrations

The video I watched even used one particular Viviane skincare consultant as an example.  Apparently she was a former teacher and built a huge client base off of all her teacher friends. (hmmm…uh…no…not really going to do that. Not for me.)

There you have it.  A HUGE list of Viviane Skincare products and some weird standouts like the pump for the soap or the hand soap.   I guess hand soap is a skin care item but it is just strange to see something like this in a mlm when there really isn’t much special about it.  I can go to  Wal-Mart or Bath and Body works in the mall to get a lot of what Vivian Skincare sells.

After taking a good look at what they sell, I can see why they are not real huge right now, however, they do have a flagship product that has age on it’s side which was not mentioned above.

The Viviane skincare product is the Moistro line which comes in the Enriched, Balancing and Clean Finish product types.

The VIVIANE Skin Care Compensation Plan

In order to start selling Vivian Skincare, you have to purchase into the product line with a Starter Kit.

The Basic Business starter kit starts at $149 ( I found another video that said they started at $95 so they may be cheaper than $149).

There is also a Business Builder Kit called the “Get Go Kit” that offers a full line of their product samples and is around $300.00.

The Viviane business opportunity itself gives you a chance to earn 35% on each dollar with the 35% personal retail commission on all of their products no matter what the rank is within the Vivian compensation plan.  As the sales ranks are increased, so are the commissions.

The Viviane sales compensation plan includes sponsoring/mentoring bonuses, team volume and consistency bonus.

As a Viviane Consultant you can earn an additional 5% on your personal volume when you are paid as a Team Leader or above.

There are eight ways to earn as a Viviane consultant in the Viviane comp plan:

1. 35% Retail Sales Commission
2. Sponsoring Bonus: 5% on Personal Volume for Team Leaders and above
3. Mentoring Bonus: $75 for each enrolled Vivian consultant who earns a Consistency bonus during the first 3 months.
4. Consistency Bonus: $150 every three months for building your team and meeting bonus qualifications (two SkinSmart Events, 1 new sponsored Vivian consultant and $1000.00 in sales in your first 3 months)
5. Team Volume: You can earn up to four levels deep.
6. Promotion Bonus: You earn more money as you advance in your paid as rank of Senior Director or above
7. Expense bonus: Earn $100 every month that your Sales volume is above $5000
8. Business Supply Credit: 5% can be earned as a credit on all of your own retail sales for business supplies every month.

As a Viviane Sales Consultant, you will also receive an online replicated website. I wouldn’t be too excited about this though because it seems to me that the original Viviane website itself is a bit outdated.
