Quezon City, that expanse where culture, concrete and coños converge, is known as the “Entertainment Capital of the Philippines”. Neat, eh? This claim is sufficiently backed by the presence of the headquarters of major television networks, countless clubs and bars in key places like Tomas Morato and Araneta-Cubao… and the remarkable (nay, alarming!) turn-out of artistas of prime-time-program caliber who filed their certificates of candidacy in the city for the 2010 elections.
Weekend Warrior Philippines won’t be delving into the glitzy and glamorous side of Quezon City, or Kyusi (QC) to endeared residents and pseudo-residents.
