Hi everyone!

Thank you for allowing me to join in this prestigious forum.  I am a true-blooded Marikenyo.  I was born (yeah I'm an Amang E Rodriguez baby) and grew up in Marikina.  Since birth, I only spent 2 years outside Marikina, that was when my parents moved to Sucat Muntinlupa.  After that, we went back to our hometown.

I spent my formative years here in Marikina and I can still recall the time when our public wet market is still "wet"  with black mud splattering all over my shirt whenever I accompany my mom in her "pamamalengke".  As a true Marikenyo, I am used to the pleasant smell of leather (synthetic or not) and contact cement of course.  I also love the tune of ball-peen hammers pounding the shoes with the "hulmahan" inside it. However, I was not able to get the Marikenyo's vaunted: "punto" in speaking tagalog.

I also saw the transformation of Marikina from a so-so to the one standing proud today.  Anyway, I am a Certified Public Accountant by profession.  So anyone of you who needs tax, accounting, bookkeeping, auditing and risk management services, just contact me.  Thanks!
